Like many prolific artists, Lorren Bell seemed destined for design, born with a natural gift and an unmistakable sense of style. At 21, he left his hometown of Canton, Ohio, and moved to New York City to pursue a dream shared by many young visionaries – creating jewelry, handbags, and hair accessories.
In 1993, Lorren launched his namesake company, quickly attracting a devoted following among fashion enthusiasts drawn to his signature use of crystals, faux tortoise, and cotton ball pearls. His distinctive pieces soon found their way into boutiques and specialty shops around the world.
Always in the spotlight, Lorren and his designs have been celebrated in numerous fashion and lifestyle publications, featured on television, and showcased in Hollywood films. He was highlighted in the book “Tinsel Trading Company – Beautiful Bedrooms with Ribbons and Trims and is an esteemed member of Fashion Group International, where he also served on the board of directors for many years.
